There are three types of membership - Full, In-Conversion and Dairy (summary here).
Full Membership:
Full membership is designed for organic livestock farmers, and entitles members to all the services of the Group. There is a small annual membership fee, but this entitles members to many cost saving inputs, access to market information, and other services.
In-Conversion:
In-Conversion is for farmers who are starting out on the organic conversion process. Although there is no membership fee for In-Conversion membership, the benefits of this form of membership are reduced.
Dairy:
Dairy membership is a low-cost option for dairy farmers wanting only a market for their organic cull cows. There are few other benefits of membership (such as savings on farming inputs - feed, seed, fertiliser, fuel, etc., access to our "Members Only" area of the website, and other benefits).
Cost and benefits of membership:

To join us, we need simply a completed Membership Agreement , together with your payment. This can be either cheque or the discounted Direct Debit option.
We cannot market your stock or supply you with inputs until your membership is fully paid.
For 2011 annual membership is £36 +VAT (total £43.20) by Direct Debit, or £50 + VAT (total £60) by cheque (payable to Graig Farm Producers Ltd);
Dairy and In-Conversion memberships have no annual membership fee. However, Dairy and In-Conversion members are not eligible for the annual bonus payment or other benefits (see summary of membership options).
If you wish to take advantage of our cheaper Direct Debit payment option, please complete the Direct Debit mandate, which includes guidance on how to complete the form. Once completed, please return the completed Membership Agreement together with Direct Debit mandate or cheque to us by post.
We will send you a receipted VAT invoice for all membership payments received.
Farm assurance is now required for all the major abattoirs we deal with. Without Farm Assurance we might not be able to sell your livestock in the best markets, at the best prices. If you don't have Farm Assurance, we strongly recommend that you speak to your certifying body about arranging Farm Assurance inspections, which can be done at the same time as your organic inspections.
